Yeast Rolls
Yeast Rolls is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. warm water, 1 pkg. yeast, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 c. crisco and 5 c. self-rising flour or enough to make stiff dough, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Dissolve Crisco in warm water.
Add package of yeast.
Mix well and add sugar and flour to make a stiff batter.
Place in large bowl and cover.
Let rise until doubled in bulk or overnight.
Add enough flour until can roll on cookie sheet.
Cut in rolls 1/4 inch thick.
Put in greased pan.
Set in warm place until it has doubled in thickness.
Bake at 400Β° until brown.
