Yeast Rolls
Yeast Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. yeast, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. boiling water, 6 c. plain flour and 1 c. lukewarm water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Day before cooking, mix yeast and lukewarm water.
Set aside to dissolve.
In very large mixing bowl, pour boiling water over Crisco, stirring until dissolved.
Let cool enough to add eggs and yeast mixture.
Add remaining ingredients.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Take out of refrigerator several hours before cooking and let rise in a warm place.
About 3 hours before cooking, knead dough lightly; roll out and cut with biscuit cutter.
Dip rolls in melted butter before placing in muffin pan.
Let rise until doubled in size (about 2 hours).
Cook at 375Β° until brown.
