Mix the yeast, salt, sugar and water; let stand 45 minutes. Beat egg.
Add oil and sugar and add to yeast mixture with 1 cup warm water.
Add flour.
Let rise double in bulk; knead about 3 minutes.
Let rise double in bulk again.
Form rolls and let rise. Bake at 400Β° until golden brown.
