Yeast Rolls
Yeast Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tsp. salt, 5 tsp. yeast, 2/3 c. sugar, 2 c. warm milk and large spoonful shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mix salt, yeast and sugar.
Add warm milk and shortening.
Gradually add flour until dough holds together.
Put in a large, greased bowl.
Cover with waxed paper or small towel.
Sit in warm place until dough doubles in size.
Remove dough from bowl.
Punch down and knead well.
Roll out on counter.
Spray several 8-inch pie plates with Pam.
Shape dough into medium egg-size balls.
Place in greased pie plates (approximately 7 balls per plate).
Let rise until doubled in size in a warm place.
Bake at 375Β° approximately 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
