Yeast Biscuits
Yeast Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/8 c. yeast, 2 c. warm water, 1/4 c. sugar, 1 1/2 qt. flour and 1/2 c. dry milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Place warm water in bowl; add yeast and sugar.
Let set 10 minutes.
Blend flour, dry milk, baking powder and salt in mixer bowl.
Cut shortening into flour mixture.
Add yeast mixture and knead lightly.
Roll out as for biscuits; cut in rounds.
Place on greased pans and let rise 30 minutes.
Bake in 425Β° oven about 15 minutes, or until brown.
