Yeast Biscuits

Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Sift together dry ingredients; cut in shortening.
Add yeast and buttermilk to dry ingredients. Knead enough to hold together.
Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter.
Bake at 400Β° for 15 to 20 minutes.
Will keep uncooked in covered pans in refrigerator for 2 to 3 days.
No need to let rise.
