Winter Fruit Bowl
Winter Fruit Bowl is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (12 oz.) pkg. pitted prunes, 1 (6 oz.) pkg. dried apricots, 1/2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar, 1 c. walnuts, chopped and 1 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cut prunes and apricots into bite size pieces.
Combine sugar and water in a saucepan; bring to a boil.
Add prunes and apricots; remove from heat.
Cover and let soak 4 hours.
Drain. Place in a large bowl.
Cut peaches and pears into bite size pieces.
Combine all ingredients, except bananas.
Chill.
Add bananas just before serving.
Spoon into fruit dishes and serve. May top with a small spoonful of whipped cream.
