Winning Apple Cake
Winning Apple Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened, 1 3/4 c. sugar, divided, 4 eggs, divided, 2 c. flour and 2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
In large bowl, combine cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar and 1 egg; mix until well blended.
Set aside.
In another bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups sugar, flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
Add oil and 3 eggs.
Mix just until moistened.
Fold in apples and nuts. Reserve 2 cups of batter.
Pour remaining batter into greased and floured 10-inch Bundt pan.
Pour cream cheese mixture over batter. Carefully spoon reserved batter over cream cheese mixture. Spread lightly to cover.
Bake at 350Β° for 50 to 55 minutes until wooden pick clean.
Cool 10 minutes.
Remove from pan.
Cool thoroughly.
Sprinkle powdered sugar over top of cake.
