Wine Cookies
Wine Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, 2 c. sugar, 2 egg yolks, 5 c. flour and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix together the butter or margarine, sugar and egg yolks. Beat until light and fluffy.
Add flour and salt with wine alternately.
Mix and chill.
Roll out a floured board and cut into 2-inch rounds.
Brush with slightly beaten egg white and sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
Bake at 325Β° for about 10 minutes. Cool.
Makes about 8 dozen.
