Wild Grouse Deluxe
Wild Grouse Deluxe is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 grouse, cleaned and cut into serving pieces, 1 egg, slightly beaten, 1/2 c. milk, 1 tsp. each: salt and pepper and garlic salt to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Dip pieces of grouse in mixture of egg, milk and spices, then roll in flour.
Put butter and oil in skillet and heat to frying temperature.
Brown pieces well on all sides.
Remove from skillet and place in single layer in baking dish.
Add drippings from skillet to soup and mix well.
Spoon over grouse.
Add water to bottom of dish.
Cover.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour or until tender. Serves 4 to 6.
Results in a very moist and tasty bird!
