Cream butter and sugar well.
Add eggs, beaten 1 at a time. Add flour a little at a time, then add flavoring, nuts and raisins.
Place in a greased and floured tube pan; bake at 250° to 275° for 2 hours, until light brown.
Makes a big cake.
Good for the holidays.
