White Icing is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. white sugar, 1 c. water, 2 egg whites, 1/8 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cook without stirring sugar and water until thread spins. Beat until stiff egg whites and salt.
Add syrup in thin stream over egg whites, beating continuously.
When nearly all of syrup is added, add cream of tartar, then add remaining syrup.
Beat until it will hold its shape and nearly cool.
