White Christmas Pie
White Christmas Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 tbsp. unflavored gelatin, 1/4 c. cold water, 4 tbsp. plain flour, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 1/2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Soften gelatin in 1/4 cup cold water.
Mix together in the saucepan the flour, salt and milk.
Cook over low heat, stirring until it boils.
Boil for 1 minute; remove from heat and stir in softened gelatin.
When partially set, beat with rotary beater until smooth and blend in vanilla and almond extract. Gently fold in stiffly beaten whipping cream.
Carefully fold in a meringue of the egg whites, cream of tartar and sugar.
Fold in coconut and pour into a 9 or 10-inch pie crust.
Sprinkle with coconut.
Refrigerate.
