White Chocolate Cake
White Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 lb. white chocolate, 1/2 c. boiling water, 1 c. butter, 2 c. sugar and 4 egg yolks, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Melt chocolate in the boiling water. Set aside to cool.
Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Mix in egg yolks one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add melted chocolate and vanilla. Sift together flour and soda. Add to creamed mixture with buttermilk. Do not overmix at this point. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in batter. Stir in pecans and coconut.
Pour in 3 greased and floured pans.
Bake at 350Β° for 20 minutes.
