White Bread
White Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. yeast, 2 c. warm water, 1/4 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. salt and 1 c. warm milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Mix well.
Add sugar, salt, milk and oil.
Mix well.
Add enough flour to make a dough you can handle.
Knead on floured board until smooth; place in oiled bowl, turn one time to oil top and let rise 1 hour in warm place.
Punch down and knead for about 5 minutes.
Shape into 2 loaves; let rise until double in size.
Bake in 400Β° oven 30 minutes.
Brush top with butter; let stand 10 minutes before turning out on rack to cool.
