Beat ingredients five minutes.
Add nuts if using them. Grease and flour tube pan, pour in cake.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour, let cool for ten minutes, then puncture top of cake with fork or cake tester and pour glaze over cake a little at a time.
Let cake remain in pan for several hours before removing.
Cake can be refrigerated or frozen after removing from pan.
