Wheat Germ Bread
Wheat Germ Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 3/4 c. all-purpose flour, 2 pkg. yeast, 1/2 c. wheat germ, 1 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 c. warm water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

In large mixer bowl combine 1 1/2 cups flour, yeast, wheat germ and salt, mix well.
Add water, molasses, shortening and egg. Beat 3 minutes at medium speed.
By hand gradually stir in remaining flour to make a stiff batter.
Cover.
Let rise in warm place until light, about 45 minutes.
Bake at 375Β° for 35 to 40 minutes until deep brown.
Remove from pan, cool.
