Welsh Cookies

Heat frypan or griddle to 325° or 330°.
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and nutmeg.
Add the butter or margarine to flour mixture and mix as for a pie crust.
Add currants and raisins.
Beat the eggs with the milk.
Add to dry ingredients.
Mix well with your hands.
If the dough is sticky, add more flour.
Roll out on a lightly floured board and cut with a cookie cutter or a glass.
