Walnut Torte

Beat egg yolks and sugar until thick and lemon colored. Sift flour and baking powder.
Add slowly with chopped nuts to egg mixture.
Add vanilla; beat egg whites until stiff.
Fold into first mixture.
Two well-greased 9-inch round pans at 350Β° for 10 to 15 minutes. Cool and remove.
Ice with Custard Frosting.
