Beat all ingredients, except walnuts and frosting, on low speed for 30 seconds, scraping bowl constantly.
Stir in walnuts. Pour into 2 round pans (9 x 1 1/2-inch).
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
Cool for 10 minutes.
Frost.
