Walnut Pound Cake
Walnut Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour, 2 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. black walnut flavoring, 1 tsp. vanilla and 2 sticks oleo (margarine), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Use 1/4 cup flour to coat walnuts.
Preheat oven to 325Β°. Grease and flour 10-inch tube pan.
Combine all ingredients except walnuts in large mixing bowl, blending together.
Beat for 3 minutes.
Add walnuts and stir until blended.
Pour into pan and bake 60 to 70 minutes or until cake springs back.
Cool in pan 15 minutes.
