Walnut Danish Roll
Walnut Danish Roll is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 lb. butter, 2 tbsp. sugar, 3 eggs, separated, 2 1/2 c. flour and 1/2 c. warm milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Cream butter and 2 tablespoons sugar; add egg yolks and mix. Add flour.
Dissolve yeast in lukewarm milk.
Add to mixture and mix well with hand.
Put in refrigerator covered.
(Let stand in refrigerator overnight.)
In morning, divide dough into two and shape into balls.
Meanwhile, beat egg whites stiff, adding 3/4 cup sugar to egg whites.
Chop walnut meats.* Roll out dough; spread with egg whites and sprinkle walnuts.
Roll up like jelly roll. Place on greased pan and let rise 2 hours.
Bake at 325° to 350° for about 25 minutes.
