Walnut Clusters
Walnut Clusters is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour or 1/2 c. instant type flour, 1/4 tsp. double-acting baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 c. soft butter or margarine and 1/2 c. granulated sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
In a bowl, with electric mixer at medium speed, beat butter with sugar until creamy.
Next, beat in egg, vanilla, then chocolate, then flour mixture.
Fold in walnuts.
Drop mixture by heaping teaspoonfuls 1-inch apart onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake just 10 minutes, no longer.
Store in container with loose fitting cover.
Makes about 2 1/2 dozen.
