Violet's Cake
Violet'S Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. plain flour, 2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. soda, 1 stick margarine and 3 1/2 tbsp. chocolate syrup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Sift together the flour, sugar and soda.
Bring to a boil the margarine, syrup, water and Crisco. Mix together the buttermilk, eggs and vanilla and add.
Mix all ingredients until smooth.
Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan at 350Β° until done.
Cover cake with glaze while it is still warm.
