Vinegar Roll is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 1/4 c. shortening, 1/4 c. buttermilk, 1/3 c. water and 1/8 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix flour and shortening.

Milk, water, salt and soda. Add to flour to make dough.

Divide dough into 4 parts. Roll each piece for pie.

Sprinkle each pastry circle with 1/3 sugar, 3 pats oleo and 3 teaspoons vinegar.

Up. Pinch ends together.

Place in buttered pan. Pour remaining sugar, vinegar and oleo on top.

Pour two cups boiling water over all.

Bake 45 minutes at 400Β°.
