Vickie's Chili
Vickie'S Chili is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 tbsp. cooking oil, 3 medium onions, finely chopped, 2 green bell peppers, cored, seeded and finely chopped, 2 stalks celery, finely chopped and 1 tbsp. garlic powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Heat oil in heavy 10-quart pot over medium heat.
Add onions, bell peppers, celery and garlic.
Cook, stirring until onions are translucent.
Add the meat to the pot a little at a time, stirring occasionally.
Cook, stirring occasionally, until the meat is evenly browned.
Stir in the remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer, uncovered, for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Stir often.
Taste and adjust seasonings.
Serves 6.
