Velvet Shrimp
Velvet Shrimp is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined, 1 1/2 c. flour, 2 tbsp. old bay seasoning or crab seasoning and cooking oil in deep fat fryer, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Preheat cooking oil to 375Β°.
Mix flour and Old Bay seasoning in a Ziploc bag.
Rinse shrimp; place in Ziploc bag; shake evenly to coat shrimp.
Carefully place shrimp in hot cooking oil for 3 to 4 minutes or until the shrimp float on surface of oil.
Drain shrimp on paper towels and serve with Cocktail Sauce.
