Velvet Cake
Velvet Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 4 egg yolks, 1/2 c. cold water and 1 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Cream the butter.
Add sugar gradually, yolk of eggs well beaten and water.
Mix and sift flour, cornstarch and baking powder.
Add to first mixture.
Then add whites of eggs beaten until stiff.
After putting in pan, cover with almonds and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Bake forty minutes in a moderate oven.
