Cream sugar and margarine.
Add eggs and beat thoroughly after each egg.
Add crushed vanilla wafers, pecans, coconut and vanilla. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 350° for 1 1/2 hours or at 325° for 1 3/4 hours.
Put water in pan on shelf below cake.
