Vanilla Rice Pudding
Vanilla Rice Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. 2% low-fat milk, 1 egg, well beaten, 1 small box jell-o vanilla pudding (not instant), 1 c. minute brand instant rice and 1/4 c. raisins, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Gradually stir milk and egg into dry pudding mix in saucepan, add rice and raisins.
Stir over medium heat until mixture comes to boil.
Remove from heat, cover for 5 minutes, then cool for 5 minutes, stirring twice.
Pour into dessert dishes or serving bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate about 1 hour.
Serve with sprinkled cinnamon and nutmeg.
Makes 10 servings.
Can be doubled.
