Upside-Down Pizza
Upside-Down Pizza is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. mild italian sausage, 1 medium onion, chopped, 1 (15 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce, 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced and 1 can black olives, drained and sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Crumble and brown sausage.
Drain. Add onions and cook until transparent. Add spaghetti sauce, mushrooms
(I use canned mushrooms at times) and olives.
Heat and pour into 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Evenly arrange
Mozzarella cheese over this mixture (slices or shredded).
Whirl or beat eggs, milk, flour, oil and smooth.
Mozzarella. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 400Β° about 25 minutes.
