Upside-Down German Chocolate Cake
Upside-Down German Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 duncan hines german chocolate cake mix, 1 c. chopped pecans optional, 1 c. coconut, 8 oz. cream cheese and 1 c. butter or margarine melted, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Heat oven to 350Β°.
Grease or spray bottom of 9x13 inch pan. Sprinkle pecans and coconut over bottom of pan.
Mix cake according to directions on the box and pour over pecans and coconut mixture.
Mix cream cheese, butter, and sugar together. Pour over cake mixture, leaving 1/2 to 1 inch on each side.
Bake for 50 minutes.
This was always a favorite of Muggsy's when he came to the house.
Without nuts, of course.
