Ukrainian Babka
Ukrainian Babka is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 7 lb. flour, 3/4 lb. butter, melted, 3 c. warm milk, 2 1/2 c. sugar and 2 boxes raisins, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Warm milk in large pot (not hot because yeast will not rise). Dissolve yeast in warm milk.
Add 4 cups flour; mix well.
Put in warm place.
Cover with towel; let rise for 2 hours.
Add sugar, eggs, sour cream and salt; mix again.
Add rest of flour, a little at a time, until flour is used.
Add melted butter and raisins. Keep kneading until the dough comes clean from your hands.
Cover again; put in warm place until it doubles in size.
