Two-Bean Chili
Two-Bean Chili is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1 large green pepper, chopped (about 1 c.), 1 large onion, chopped (about 1 c.), 2 tbsp. chili powder and 1/4 tsp. pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
In 6-quart Dutch oven over medium-high heat, cook beef, green pepper, onion, chili powder and pepper until beef is browned and vegetables are tender, stirring to separate meat.
Spoon off fat. Add tomato juice, kidney beans and Great Northern beans.
Heat to boiling.
Reduce to low.
Cover; cook 20 minutes to blend flavors, stirring occasionally.
