Twinkie Cake
Twinkie Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 yellow cake mix, 5 tbsp. flour, 1 c. milk, 1 c. sugar and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Bake yellow cake in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Split in half lengthwise.
Mix 5 tablespoons flour and milk in saucepan.
Heat until thick, stirring constantly.
In large bowl, mix sugar, salt, Crisco, margarine and vanilla.
Mix until fluffy. Add cooled milk mixture.
Beat 5 minutes.
Add food coloring.
Put filling on 1 half of cake.
Put the other half on top.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
