Prepare directed on package.

Bake in a 13 x 9-inch pan.

Remove from pan and place in freezer for 1 hour. Remove from freezer in half lengthwise, using a large knife or dental floss.

Mix well the 5 tablespoons flour and milk. Cook thick; set aside and cool.

Then mix well the sugar, margarine, Crisco, salt and vanilla and beat at high speed of mixer until light and fluffy.

Spread between cake layers.

You may top cake with Cool Whip if desired.
