Tuts Toffee
Tuts Toffee is an easy dinner. Made with 2 sticks butter or margarine, 1 c. brown sugar, 35 saltine crackers, 1 large pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1/2 c. chopped nuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Arrange crackers, 7 across and 5 down.
Melt butter with brown sugar, mix and pour over saltines.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes (will bubble and harden when removed).
Sprinkle warm toffee with chocolate chips and spread with a spatula when melted.
Sprinkle with nuts.
Chill until firm.
Peel off foil and break into pieces.
