Turtles
Turtles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box german chocolate cake mix, 3/4 stick oleo, 2/3 c. evaporated milk, 14 oz. pkg. kraft caramels and 1 c. broken pecans or walnuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
👨🍳 Instructions
Mix the German chocolate cake mix with the oleo and 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
Spread 1/2 batter in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
Bake for 6 minutes at 350°.
Melt together the Kraft caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk over low heat or in microwave.
Spread over bottom layer.
Sprinkle the nuts and chocolate chips over the caramels.
Spread rest of cake batter over the top.
Bake for 15 minutes at 350°.
