Turtle Cake
Turtle Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with duncan hines chocolate cake mix, 1 1/2 sticks butter, 14 oz. kraft caramels, 1/2 c. eagle brand milk and 1 c. chopped pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Prepare cake mix by directions on box.
Pour half of mixture into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake 20 minutes; remove from oven. While cake is baking, in saucepan, combine butter, caramels and milk.
When sauce is melted and smooth, add pecans.
Spread sauce filling over hot cake.
Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Add remaining cake batter and spread over top of filling.
Bake 40 minutes at 350Β°.
Cool completely and cut in squares.
