Turtle Cake
Turtle Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box german chocolate cake mix, 12 oz. bag caramels, 1 stick butter, 1 can condensed sweetened milk and 1 c. chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

In double boiler, melt caramels and butter. Add sweetened milk to mixture. Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Pour 1/2 of batter in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
Bake 15 minutes at 350Β°. Pour caramel mixture over cake.
Then sprinkle chocolate chips and chopped walnuts over mixture.
Pour the other half of batter over all. Bake for another 20 to 30 minutes or until done.
