Turtle Cake
Turtle Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box german chocolate cake mix, 3/4 c. margarine, melted, 1 pkg. kraft caramels (14 oz.), 1 c. chopped nuts and 1 c. chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mix cake mix with melted margarine and 2/3 cup evaporated milk.
Pour half the batter into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake 10 to 15 minutes at 350Β°.
While batter bakes, melt caramels with remaining 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
Remove cake from oven.
Pour caramel mixture over top and sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.
Add remaining half of batter.
Return to oven and bake for 20 minutes.
