Turtle Cake
Turtle Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. german chocolate cake mix, 1/2 c. melted margarine, 1 can eagle brand condensed milk, 14 to 16 oz. bag kraft caramels and 1/2 c. margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix cake mix as directed on package.
Divide batter in half (in two different bowls).
In one, add 1/2 cup melted margarine and 1/2 of milk.
Pour this batter into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 325Β° for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Melt caramels and 1/2 cup margarine.
Add the remaining milk.
Pour over cake. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.
Pour remaining batter on top.
Bake for 20 to 30 minutes.
Check for doneness with toothpick.
Really delicious.
