Turtle Cake
Turtle Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box german chocolate cake mix, 1 stick butter, 1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels, 6 oz. chocolate chips and 1 (7 oz.) can eagle brand milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Mix cake as directed on box.
Pour 1/2 of mixture into a greased 13 x 9-inch cake pan.
Bake 15 minutes as directed on box. Place butter, caramels and milk in top of a double boiler; stir until caramels are melted.
Cool slightly; spread over baked cake.
Spread remaining cake batter over caramel mixture. Sprinkle with pecans and chocolate chips.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes more.
