Turtle Cake
Turtle Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box german chocolate cake mix, 1 (14 oz.) bag caramel candies, 3/4 c. butter, 1/2 c. evaporated milk and 1 c. chopped pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

In saucepan over low heat, melt caramels with butter and evaporated milk.
Mix cake by directions.
Pour half of cake batter into floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and top with chocolate chips, pecans and caramel mixture.
Pour second half of batter over top.
Return to oven.
Bake 20 minutes at 350°.
May frost, if desired. Chocolate is good.
