Turtle Cake
Turtle Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 german chocolate cake mix, 1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels, 3/4 c. butter, 1/2 c. milk and 1 c. chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix cake mix according to package directions.
Pour half of batter in 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
Melt caramel and butter; add milk.
Pour over top of partially baked cake.
Add chocolate chips and nuts.
Pour remaining cake batter over mixture, covering caramels mixture, chips and nuts.
Bake at 350° for another 20 minutes.
Can serve with ice cream or Cool Whip on top.
