Mix cake according to directions.
Pour 1/2 batter into 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350Β° for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt caramels, milk and margarine.

Bake 15 to 20 minutes. Cool and frost with coconut pecan frosting.
