Melt together caramels, butter, milk, chocolate chips and nuts. Pour half of cake batter in 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350Β°. Pour caramel mixture over half-baked cake.
Pour remaining cake batter over caramel. Add chocolate chips and nuts on top. Bake 30 more minutes until done.
