Turtle Cake
Turtle Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box german chocolate cake mix, 12 oz. caramels, 1 stick margarine, 1 can sweetened condensed milk and 1 c. chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Melt caramels.
Add margarine in top of double boiler. Prepare cake mix according to package directions.
Pour half of batter into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
Bake for 15 minutes at 350Β°.
Pour caramel mixture over cake.
Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over mixture.
Pour the other half of batter over all. Bake another 20 to 30 minutes or until done.
