Turtle Cake
Turtle Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box german chocolate cake mix, 1 bag (14 oz.) caramels, 3/4 c. butter, 1/2 c. canned milk (evaporated) and 1 c. chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix cake batter as directed on package.
Put 1/2 of the batter in a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
In a saucepan over low heat, melt caramels with butter and milk.
Pour over hot half-baked cake.
Top with chocolate chips and pecans. Pour rest of batter over caramels; bake at 350° for 20 minutes longer.
