Turtle Cake
Turtle Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. melted butter, 1 german chocolate cake mix, 14 oz. bag caramels, 1/2 c. evaporated milk and 1 c. nuts (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix cake as directed.
Add melted butter; mix well.
Pour 1/2 batter in 9 x 13 greased pan.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350Β°. Melt caramels and milk in double boiler or microwave.
Spoon over cake.
Sprinkle nuts and chocolate chips over caramel.
Pour remaining batter over mixture and bake approximately 15 minutes or until cake is done.
